How do I create my first invitation?
Sign up for free, choose a template from the gallery, and the editor will open with your event ready to customize.
Do my guests need an account?
No. Guests open a direct link from their SMS. No app, no sign-up.
Is Tiricard free to try?
Yes. The Free tier includes one invitation, basic templates, and 50 SMS per event.
What languages are supported?
English and Amharic, with full bilingual SMS delivery.
Editing your invitation
Can I switch templates after editing?
Yes. Your text and event details carry over to the new template.
Can I upload my own photos?
Yes. The editor supports image uploads in JPG, PNG, and WebP.
How do I add custom fonts?
Custom fonts are available on the Studio tier. Premium and Free use the curated Tiricard library.
Will my edits autosave?
Yes. Every change saves to the cloud as you type.
Sending invites
How does SMS sending work?
Add your guest list, click Send, and each guest receives a unique link by SMS in their preferred language.
Can I resend to guests who didn’t open?
Yes. The guests page shows open status and offers a one-click resend.
What if a phone number is wrong?
Failed deliveries are flagged so you can correct the number and retry.
Is there a delivery cost?
SMS volume is included in your plan. Studio is unlimited.
RSVPs & guests
How do guests RSVP?
Each guest opens their invitation, sees the event details, and confirms in seconds. Responses appear live in your dashboard.
Can guests bring a plus-one?
Yes, if you enable plus-ones on the event. Each plus-one is tracked separately.
Can I export the guest list?
Yes. Download as CSV from the guests page at any time.
Can guests update their RSVP?
Yes. Guests can change their response any time before the event.
How do I track dietary needs?
The RSVP form includes a free-text note field that captures dietary and song requests.
Music & 3D reveal
Can I add music to my invitation?
Yes. Pick a track from the curated library or upload your own audio in the Music tab.
Will music auto-play for guests?
Music starts after the guest taps the envelope, respecting browser autoplay rules.
What is the 3D reveal?
Each template category has a unique animated opening built with Spline and React Three Fiber.
Is the 3D reveal accessible?
Yes. Guests with reduced-motion preferences see a graceful fade instead of the full animation.
Billing
How does pricing work?
Tiricard charges per event, not per month. Pay once when you publish a Premium or Studio event.
What payment methods are accepted?
Major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Local Ethiopian payment options are rolling out.
Can I get a refund?
If your event has not yet published, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.
Do you offer non-profit pricing?
Email hello@tiricard.com with proof of status for a discount code.
